Tips for Submitting Profile Requests
If you can't find a profile you need, we encourage you to submit a Profile Request. All of the fixture profiles in Slyyd's profile library are crafted by a member of the Slyyd team. This process helps ensure that published profiles work properly. Sometimes that will leave a fixture out of the library. When submitting a request, keep these tips in mind:
- We do not currently support profiles with zones or pixels.
- We do not currently support CMY color mixing.
- While we support most profiles with on-board effects, there are some that we can only partially support at this time.
- You will receive a response much quicker if you request the specific profiles you want to see. Please do not request "All profiles" for a fixture. If in doubt, please be more specific instead of general.
- Include as much information as you can. We may not even know about the fixture that you are using and this gives us the opportunity to learn its details.
- Links to the fixture DMX chart and documentation will help expedite a response. These documents can also be uploaded to us directly by replying to the confirmation email that you will receive after submitting a request.
