Using an Ethernet Adapter with Slyyd
Slyyd works great over an ethernet connection by using a USB C to ethernet adapter connected to an iPad or iPhone. When using ethernet to connect to a DHCP server the connection generally works without the need to tweak settings. If a static IP is required, or if other troubleshooting steps are necessary, the ethernet settings on an iPad can be found in the Settings app, under Ethernet.
It may sometimes be necessary to disable WiFi to ensure that the ethernet interface is prioritized. The iPhone or iPad may prioritize a WiFi connection if the ethernet connection does not have internet access and the WiFi connection does. Disabling WiFi should force the device to choose the ethernet connection in this situation.
